This policy explains how A-Mazing and its support website handle information. The developer is Anton Neznamov, publishing as Better Bureau (“we”, “us”). For privacy questions, contact neznamov.anton@gmail.com.

1. Information saved by the game

A-Mazing does not require an account. The maze can be played offline. We save your current level, unlocked levels, results, collected gems, maze seed, tutorial state, sound and motion preferences, and counters used to space advertisements on your device. These saves allow you to continue your journey and preserve your settings.

From version 1.4.3, the game does not ask for your age. Earlier versions saved a coarse age category locally, without a name or date of birth. Existing categories remain on the device and are used only to apply appropriate advertising protections. They are not sent to a developer server and are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer.

We do not operate a server that receives your saved game or individual maze moves. There is no separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting service in the game. Advertising services, when active, have their own processing described below. Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device and account settings.

2. Advertising and consent

Versions with advertising enabled use Google AdMob for a bottom banner and occasional full-screen advertisements between completed levels. Availability depends on the version, connectivity and privacy settings.

When advertising services are active, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses these for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. SDK processing is described in Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Google's User Messaging Platform handles applicable privacy notices and choices and stores consent information on your device. Where required, it presents a form before the game requests advertisements. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. This option appears when Google makes a privacy-options form available. Refusing optional consent does not prevent offline maze play; whether limited or non-personalized ads are available depends on Google's rules and your choices.

A category saved by an earlier version controls privacy signals sent to Google. For ages 13–15, we apply Google's restricted child-age ad treatment and mark the user as under the age of consent; Google does not request consent through its form for that group. For ages 16–17, we apply Google's teen-age ad treatment. Both groups receive restrictions on personalized advertising and remarketing; the child-age treatment also prevents transmission of the advertising ID and third-party ad-vendor requests. Adults receive the normal applicable consent choices. See Google's age-treatment explanation.

From version 1.4.3, missing, unspecified and previously selected under-13 ages use restricted child-age advertising treatment and under-age-of-consent handling. They do not disable advertising. We do not infer an adult age or replace earlier choices. Ad requests still depend on the Google SDK permitting them. If a consent update fails, SDK-approved information from a previous session may be used. Older versions disabled ads for these age categories.

You can also manage or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Google explains its handling in its Privacy Policy and information about partner apps. Clicking an advertisement may open another provider's app or website, whose own policy applies.

3. Information you send to support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your question, investigate a problem or handle a privacy request. Google's Gmail service delivers and stores this correspondence. Please share only what is needed for your request.

4. This website

This support and privacy website uses Google Firebase Hosting. The hosting provider processes connection information, including your IP address, to deliver the page, maintain service security and detect abuse. Firebase states that Hosting retains IP data for a few months; see Firebase's privacy information. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or cookies to these pages.

5. Retention and deletion

There is no A-Mazing account or developer-hosted cloud save to delete. We cannot restore progress after you remove it from your device unless your device backup restores it.

6. Security and other services

Android's app storage protections apply to local saves. This website uses HTTPS, and Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to support correspondence is limited to handling support and privacy matters. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise GPS location. Artwork, character models, music and the AI-generated narrator recording are included in the app. Gameplay does not send player information to the services used to create those assets. If the narrator recording cannot play, the game can use your device's text-to-speech service to read the fixed story text; that service's processing depends on your chosen provider and device settings.

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their published data-protection arrangements. We do not sell your saved progress or support correspondence. Advertising processing and any applicable opt-out rights are described above.

7. Children and families

A-Mazing is intended for players aged 13 and over. The game does not ask players for a name, date of birth or contact details, and has no chat, public profiles or player uploads. Its treatment of unknown ages and retained age categories is described above. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information to us through support can contact us to request its review or deletion.

8. Your privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us about information we hold, such as support correspondence. For data processed by Google, you can also use Google's privacy controls or contact Google directly. We may need reasonable information to verify a request before disclosing or deleting personal information.

We use local saves to provide the game, support correspondence to respond to you, and limited website connection data for delivery and security. Where applicable, these activities rely on providing the requested service or legitimate interests in support and security. Processing requiring consent, including applicable advertising choices, relies on that consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
